What if the pen is not writing on the tag?
First get the ink flowing by scribbling on a piece of paper, wipe tag with rubbing alcohol or soap, then begin writing again.

How does the writing stay on?
A special white material is placed on the back of the tag that allows ink to cure after it is boiled in water. If you don't boil the tag after it's been written, your writing will remain but can be rubbed off.

What if the writing doesn’t stay on?
Make certain that you write with a medium ballpoint pen. We have included a pen that writes on our tags in your package. Do not use a SharpieTM or a gel pen, the ink from these pens do not cure to our tags for long periods of time.

What if my tag becomes dirty?
Wash with a little soap and water.

Can the tag become loose?
Our tag self attaches by looping through itself and is quite difficult to remove without hands. Our self attaching loops has similar strength of your typical stainless steel loop that comes standard with any other tag to attach to the collar's D ring.
